For a few moments today, the temperature creeped above zero degrees centigrade. After a period of frigid temperatures and a significant snow storm, this wasn’t the balmy relief the entire city is hoping for. It was however, not unpleasant, and faint as it was, a distant spring could almost be perceived if you paid attention. I noticed it as droplets of melting snow fell from this awning. At least I hope it was melting snow, you can never be quite sure in New York City.
