Valentine’s Day is a holiday made to sell flowers that are likely grown and harvested in exploitative conditions in South America.

Valentine’s Day is also a good day to think about the people you haven’t said “I Love You” to in a while, and if you have said it, a great time to say it again but with the weight of knowing the reasons why. Not because we need to be told to remember, but because sometimes we need a day to remember together.

Whether you buy flowers or not today, remember, and then say it out loud to anyone and everyone “I Love you.”
